Loaf BakeClub is my free monthly baking challenge. Each month I publish a featured recipe, you bake it, send me a photo, and you’ll be entered to win a gift card. That’s all there is to it.
No fee, no skill requirement, and no public posting necessary. So far I’ve given away over $400 in gift cards to BakeClub winners, and I’m excited to keep it going.
Here’s how to join and what to expect.

Why I Started Loaf BakeClub
To be honest, baking alone felt lonely.
I’ve run Lifestyle of a Foodie for about eight years, testing hundreds of recipes—often by myself on a random weekday. I kept imagining how much more fun it would be if others were baking the same recipe at the same time, sharing photos and comparing results.
That’s BakeClub: a free, low-pressure monthly reason to bake together. The gift cards are a small thank-you for showing up and sharing your bakes. ◡̈
How Loaf BakeClub Works
Three simple steps:
- Bake the featured recipe of the month. The new recipe posts here on the 1st of every month.
- Send me a photo of your bake. DM it to me on Instagram (@chahinez_tbt) or tag me in a post or story—either works.
- Leave a review on the recipe page and fill out the Google Form so I can keep entries organized and make sure yours isn’t missed.
- You’re entered. At month’s end I select a random winner and send a gift card.

The Rules
Do I have to post publicly to enter?
No. That used to be required, but now you can simply DM your photo on Instagram to be fully entered. Private accounts and those who prefer not to post publicly are welcome.
Is it free?
Yes. Completely free—no fee, membership, or purchase required.
Can I enter from outside the United States?
Currently, gift card prizes can only be sent to US addresses because the digital gift card services I use are region-locked. You’re still welcome to bake along and DM me your photo—I’d love to see it. If you have a friend or family member in the US, I can send a prize to them on your behalf if you win. I’m also exploring options for an international version with different prize options.
What if I’m a beginner?
Beginners are exactly who BakeClub is for. There’s no judging—imperfect loaves and first attempts are celebrated. The aim is to bake together and have fun, not to compete.
When does each challenge open and close?
Each challenge runs from the 1st of the month through the last day of the month. The recipe goes live on the 1st, and entries close at 11:59 pm Pacific on the final day.
How are winners chosen?
Winners are chosen at random from all valid entries each month. I announce the winner during the first week of the following month and send the gift card via email.
Can I enter every month?
Yes—please do. Each month is a fresh entry period, and previous winners are welcome to enter again.
What if I miss the deadline?
If you miss the deadline, that entry won’t count for that month, but the recipe is still yours to bake whenever you like. The next challenge starts on the 1st of the next month, so you can jump in then.
What You Can Win
Each month I award a gift card to one BakeClub winner. The amount varies, and over time I’ve given away more than $400 in total. I’m committed to continuing the giveaways.
This Month’s Loaf BakeClub Challenge
This month’s featured recipes are mini cinnamon rolls and s’mores cookie bars. Bake one (or both), DM a photo, leave a review, and complete the form to enter.
